Is my child's sleep normal?
You know your child best. If something about their sleep has been nagging at you, these ten questions can help you decide whether a closer look makes sense. It can't diagnose anything, and it never replaces your instincts.
Start the quiz
- Does your child snore or breathe loudly while sleeping?
- Do they often sleep with their mouth open, or breathe through their mouth during the day?
- Is their sleep restless: tossing, turning, or odd sleeping positions?
- Do they grind their teeth at night?
- Do they still wet the bed after age five?
- Do they have dark circles under their eyes, or wake up tired or cranky?
- Do they have trouble focusing, or seem moody or wired during the day?
- Are their teeth crowded, or does their palate look narrow or high?
- Were there feeding troubles as a baby, or has anyone mentioned a tongue tie?
- Are they a slow or picky eater, or do they struggle with certain textures?
Your answers look reassuring
Only a few of these signs showed up. That's great news. If your gut still says something is off, trust it. An airway consultation is a simple way to get real answers.
Your child's sleep may be worth a closer look
Several of your answers are common signs that the airway and jaw growth might be part of the story. Kids do most of their jaw growing early, so this is a good time to look closer.
An airway consultation may really help
Many of these signs showed up for your child. That doesn't mean something is wrong, but it does mean a closer look is worth it. Earlier is easier, and a consultation will show you exactly what's going on.
This quiz is for education only and is not a diagnosis. Every child is different.
