Is your sleep worth a closer look?
Ten quick yes-or-no questions about how you sleep and how you feel during the day. This quiz can't diagnose anything, but it can help you decide whether a conversation with Dr. Buxton, or an at-home sleep test, makes sense.

- Do you snore most nights, or has someone told you that you do?
- Has anyone noticed you pause, gasp, or choke while you sleep?
- Do you wake up tired, even after a full night in bed?
- Do you often wake up with a headache or a dry mouth?
- Do you get drowsy during the day, like while reading, in meetings, or driving?
- Do you clench or grind your teeth, or have jaw pain or clicking?
- Do you wake up two or more times a night to use the bathroom?
- Do you tend to breathe through your mouth, day or night?
- Have you tried CPAP and found it hard to stick with?
- Do you have a narrow smile or crowded teeth, or were teeth removed for orthodontics when you were younger?
Your answers look reassuring
You answered yes to only a few questions. That's a good sign. If something is still bothering you, like snoring that keeps a partner awake or jaw pain that won't quit, an airway consultation can give you real answers.
Your sleep may be worth a closer look
Several of your answers are common signs that the airway might be part of the picture. An at-home sleep test is an easy first step, and an airway consultation can show what's going on with your airway and jaws.
An evaluation may really be worth it
You answered yes to many questions that are often linked to sleep-disordered breathing. Only proper testing can say for sure. We'd recommend starting with an at-home sleep test and an airway consultation with Dr. Buxton, and we'll coordinate with your physician.
This quiz is for education only. It is not a diagnosis. Sleep apnea can only be diagnosed with appropriate testing and a qualified provider.
