Tools that let us see the airway
You can't treat what you can't see. Every plan at our office starts with real data: a 3D view of the airway and jaws, a digital scan of the bite, and for most adults, sleep data from home. Here's what we use and why it matters for you.

A 3D look at the airway, jaws, and joints
Cone beam CT (CBCT) takes a quick, three-dimensional scan while you stand still for a few seconds. Where a regular dental X-ray shows teeth, CBCT shows the airway itself: its shape, the narrowest points, how much room the tongue has, how the upper jaw has developed, and the jaw joints.
- Part of every airway consultation, for kids and adults
- Used to plan expansion, including DOMEzero and palate expanders
- Reviewed with you on screen, in plain language
Our scanner is a Vatech CBCT unit.

No goopy molds
A small handheld wand captures a 3D model of the teeth and bite in a few minutes. We use these scans to design appliances and aligners, track changes over time, and show you exactly what we're seeing.
Our intraoral scanner works for kids and adults, and there's nothing to bite down on.

Sleep data from your own bed
For most adults, treatment starts with a simple ring worn overnight at home. It records how you sleep, and the results are reviewed as part of your plan. It's easier than a night in a sleep lab and gives us real numbers to start from.
About the at-home sleep test
Laser care for tongue ties and the soft palate
Our soft tissue laser is used for tongue-tie and lip-tie releases and for QuietNite laser snoring treatment, which is designed to gently tighten soft palate tissue.
Our laser system is part of what lets us handle these steps in-house.

Appliances designed from your scans
From removable growth appliances and fixed expanders for kids to DOMEzero expanders, oral sleep appliances, and AIRTHO aligners for adults, the appliances we use are planned from your digital records and fitted in our office.
Made by our trusted outside dental lab partners.
